A Look Inside a Local Church

It’s from within a prison cell that the apostle Paul pens this joyful epistle to a group of people with whom he had a strong relationship marked by a deep affection. Though his opening greeting is extremely simple, his words carry great theological significance as he provides some marvelous truths about the local church of 1st century. There’s much to be learned as we take a look inside.
